Coach Melissa Vitagliano

Melissa is a 3 sport athlete that specializes in both Soccer and Softball. She lead Manchester West (NH) to two back to back Class L State Soccer Championships. She was named 2nd team all-state honors her freshman and sophomore year and was named 1st team all- state honors her junior and senior year. In 2007, she became the shut out record holder for the entire state of New Hampshire with 51 and still holds the record to date. She was named NH State Marine Corps Most Outstanding Female Athlete in 2007. In softball, Melissa was a four time All-State selection and two year team captain.  

Melissa pursued a collegiate scholarship to Southern New Hampshire University where she was  a dual sport athlete and was named team MVP as well as all- conference, all-region selections. At SNHU she pursued her B.A. in Child Development. While pursuing her college athletic career, Melissa was the starting Goal Keeper for the New Hampshire Phantoms a semiprofessional women’s soccer team in the WPSL. Melissa was team captain in her junior and senior season and after her final game at SNHU, she was invited back to pursue a coaching career where she was an Assistant Coach at Southern New Hampshire University from 2011-2013 where she focused on youth player development and recruiting.

After relocating to Florida in 2013, Melissa joined the Palm Beach Gardens Predators coaching staff to continue her coaching career as well as taking a teaching position at Rosarian Academy. Melissa is also currently the Assistant Varsity Soccer Coach at the Benjamin School. Melissa has a commitment to child development and working with young children and has started the PBG Kick Start Program which specializes in space in movement training for children aged 2-4. She truly believes that the integration of sport at a young age can help a child achieve goals throughout their youth careers. Melissa is USSF C- Coaching License and her NSCAA Level 1 Goal Keeping Diploma.
