Soccer Coaching Certifications
Adam Gee joins Palm Beach Gardens Soccer program with a wealth of knowledge and experience in both England and America. Adam has spent 10 years working in Major League Soccer with 5 years at the Metrostars (now New York Red Bulls) and 5 years with Chicago Fire Soccer, where he was Director of Youth Soccer Camps and Training programs.
After MLS, Adam joined IMG Soccer Academy in Bradenton to manage and coordinate coaching licenses (US Soccer), MLS pre-season training, all camp programs and residential teams.
A large amount of this role was managing the daily programs plus all affiliations and outreach opportunities for the IMG players, which also included college recruitment, tournament management and player logistics. During his time he created, started and implemented IMG CUP Soccer Tournament.
After IMG Soccer Academy, Adam moved to work with UK International Soccer and SCORE Sports to help develop youth soccer in Florida and the southeast region. Managing 9 states, with a focus on coach education and player development.
Adam’s philosophy is Positive Coaching and Strengths Based Coaching; allowing players to achieve more through a positive coaching environment and enrich player’s competitive drive. His background work with both organizations and Positive Coaching Alliance allowed Adam to be an instructor and mentor to thousands of coaches and professional trainers, extending his soccer network.
Additionally, Adam has a strong focus towards US Soccer and supporting the efforts of the US Soccer Federation and the opportunity to develop talent in America, for America. His experience and passion to help guide players through a pyramid of development and hopefully onto opportunities with College and Major League Soccer is very transparent when coaching, mentoring coaching staff and advising players and parents.
