GAME DAY PROTOCOLS

PBG & PBU TRAVEL SOCCER GUIDELINES & PROTOCOLS

The health and safety of all players, coaches and parents is our top priority.

Updated August 21, 2021

GENERAL COVID PROTOCOL (Following CDC Guidelines):

  • For any player who tests positive for the COVID virus, effective immediately, they must quarantine for 10 days. A player can return after 10 days if they do not have symptoms.

  • If they have been around their teammates, then the entire team must quarantine for 10 days without testing or 7 days with testing (test must occur on day 5 or later).

  • If a sibling or household family member of a player is exposed to someone with COVID, the player/family does not need to quarantine unless they test positive.

  • If a player has been exposed through close contact, they must quarantine for 10 days without testing or 7 days with testing (test must occur on day 5 or later).

  • If a player, any sibling, or any other household family member tests positive, they all must quarantine for 10 days.

  • If a player is positive, the sibling's team does not need to quarantine unless the sibling tests positive and has been around his/her teammates.

  • If your player or household family member has tested positive, please notify your coach and team manager immediately.

  • People who are fully vaccinated do NOT need to quarantine after contact with someone who had COVID-19 unless they have symptoms. However, fully vaccinated people should get tested 3-5 days after their exposure, even if they don’t have symptoms and wear a facial covering indoors in public for 14 days following exposure or until their test result is negative.

  • All coaches, concession staff, volunteers, and Referees will be required to wear face covering while indoors unless they have been vaccinated. Although we very strongly encourage wearing face coverings, it is not mandatory.

  • Everyone must be mindful to maintain social distance at all games and practices.

  • Due to the inaccuracy of the rapid test, results will not be accepted. Only PCR tests will be accepted for return to play.
