The PBGYAA Soccer Board of Directors are very proud to announce that the Palm Beach Gardens Predators soccer program has won several 2019 annual awards from the Florida Youth Athletic Association (FYSA).  FYSA is the soccer governing body in the State of Florida.  We have been informed that we have been awarded the following;

2019 Florida Youth Soccer Association Recreation Club of the Year

2019 Florida Youth Soccer Association TOPSoccer Club of the Year

In 2008, the PBGYAA took over the operations of the recreation soccer program from the City of Palm Beach Gardens. The program has grown into one of the largest and most successful clubs in Florida, with over 1100 players and 100 teams each season!  In 2009, the competitive program was started and is regarded as one of the best in Florida with both boys and girls teams playing in both state and national level leagues.  We are proud that the competitive program now has 40 teams, with players ranging in age from U8 - U18.

The 2019 FYSA Soccer Club of the Year award is recognition to all the volunteers who have helped over the past 10 years making our soccer program a safe, inclusive, and fun place for all children to play soccer at many levels.  It also speaks to all of our dedication to community through our various fundraising activities, academic scholarship program, and food drives supporting our local neighbors in need.

Our TOPSoccer program has won this award for the second time in 3 years. This really is a unique program that provides children with special needs, aged 6-18 the opportunity to play soccer and socialize in an outdoor setting.  In addition, there are 150 “Buddies”, kids aged 12-18 that volunteer their time to help support the TOPSoccer players each week.  Our TOPSoccer adult volunteers have also helped other smaller clubs in the area  start up their own TOPSoccer program.

The new Gardens District Park fields and facilities are amazing, and we are so proud to have moved into our new home the weekend of July 13th.  Fall recreation registration is open, and we are anticipating a fantastic “first” season!

Soccer Board members will be attending the FYSA Annual Meeting,  August 9-11 where we will be formally receiving the awards recognition.  We intend to have a formal celebration as part of our Fall Recreation Soccer Opening Day, on September 14th.  More details will be sent out soon!

Thank you to all the parents, coaches, and sponsors over the years; and to the thousands of children who have played or are currently playing in our programs.

We look forward to continued success of soccer in Palm Beach Gardens!  For more information on Predators Soccer programs, please visit our website at: PredatorsSoccer.org
